Rosemary Kienle was born and raised in Piqua Ohio. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts at Miami University in Oxford Ohio with a major in painting and printmaking, and Wright State University with a degree in Art Education. She worked as an advertising artist in Dayton for many years and after marriage and family pursued teaching art in the public schools. Upon retirement from education she has continued to pursue her love of art focusing on watercolor painting and sculpture.
